The mysterious disappearance of a private jet has been linked to the killing of Charlie Kirk amid multiple conspiracy theories that have surfaced online in the wake of Wednesday’s tragedy.
Kirk, 31, was killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10, having made a stop at the university as part of his American Comeback Tour. He was struck by a single bullet to the neck while seated under a tent in the school’s courtyard.
The Illinois native was an outspoken conservative and one of Donald Trump’s closest allies. He also co-founded Turning Point USA, a non-profit organization promoting conservative core values among younger people.
The fatal shot came from a high-powered rifle on a rooftop around 130 meters away. Several conspiracy theories have emerged since the tragic incident, with one of them involving private jet number N888KG.

The aircraft in question is said to have left Provo, which is less than 10 kilometers away from the university mentioned above, an hour after the shooting, and then disappeared from ADS-B before reappearing around an hour later heading back to Provo.
“Why did this plane turn off its radar? Where is the shooter?” a Twitter/X user asked.

ADS-B, Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast, is designed to allow aircraft to mark their positions using GPS or other onboard sensors and broadcast data to air traffic control, other aircraft, and, sometimes, satellites.
That the jet suddenly dropped off is indeed curious.
Meanwhile, a suspect is in custody and is believed to be college-aged. They were said to have run into the nearby woods wearing black tactical gear.
Chilling 911 audio related to the shooting has also leaked online.
The authorities have urged members of the public to avoid misinformation while theories circulate and to rely on verified updates.
